Ballet, Tap, JAZZ and Musical theatre

Our pupils are trained to the British Ballet Organisation standard in Ballet, Tap and Jazz, with our younger pupils taking examinations in Ballet and Tap. All our classes are held on a Saturday at varying times depending on age.
Our Pre-school class for children from age 3 consists of Ballet and Tap only. Then, at around the age of four and a half children are able to progress into taking Jazz and Musical Theatre as a part of their lesson.

Singing and Drama classes are also held on Saturdays, and range in duration from thirty minutes for our youngest pupils, up to an hour for our older pupils.
Children are normally able to stay at the studio for a duration of around three hours in order to incorporate both their dance, drama and singing classes.

Our older pupils can be assisted in preparation for auditions should they choose to progress onto College, University or Professional Performing Arts College Courses. To see where some of our alumni have gone on to train in the future, check out the Alumni page of our website.

Throughout the year, we are also able to hold a number of different workshops, which range from different styles of Dance to Musical Theatre. In many cases, these are often taught by our former pupils, who have gone on to study at Professional Performing Arts Colleges, or by special guest Industry Professionals.

Our last workshop was We Will Rock You taken by former pupil and teacher, Beth Woodcock, following her success playing Scaramouche in the Royal Caribbean Cruise production.
