Information Updates

We issue regular newsletters, which offer useful and important information throughout the year. We also have our own Facebook Page, as well as a private group, which you can join when you become part of our school. These offer important news updates, and are also a great way for you to connect, share and become involved with the Amanda-Jayne family.

Throughout the year we are able to hold a number of different workshops, which range from different styles of Dance to Musical Theatre. In many cases, these are often taught by our former pupils, who have gone on to study at professional stage schools, or by special guest industry professionals.
Our latest workshop was We Will Rock You taken by a former pupil, Beth Woodcock following her success playing Scaramouche in the Royal Caribbean touring production.

We have in the past appeared in the West End for charity performances, which proved to be a wonderful and valuable experience for our children.

Ballet, Tap, Modern and Musical theatre

Our pupils are trained to British Ballet Organisation standard in Ballet, Tap and Modern, with our younger pupils taking examinations in Ballet and Tap. Our Pre-school class consists of ballet and tap from age 3. At around the age of four and a half children are able to progress into taking Modern and Musical Theatre as a part of their lesson.

Singing and Drama classes are held on Saturdays and range in duration from twenty minutes for our youngest pupils up to an hour for our older pupils. Children are normally able to stay at the studio for a duration of around three hours in order to incorporate both their dance, drama and singing classes. Older pupils can be prepared for auditions should they choose to progress to University or Professional Performing Arts Colleges.
